What is Rule 1 R1 Casein? Rule 1 Casein is designed as a slow-release protein powder for those that want to take a protein at nighttime, or at other times through the day where they will not be eating for a period of time.

 

Whilst casein proteins are predominantly taken at nighttime there are various usages for Caseinate protein powders. Casein protein powders can be beneficial for reducing your appetite as they take a long time to digest and absorb.

 

What is in Rule 1 R1 Casein?

 

Rule 1 R1 Casein is an almost one hundred percent Micellar Casein protein made with the added benefit of other thickeners like guar gum and xanthan gum and carrageenan. The addition of these fibres to Rule 1 R1 Casein will also thicken the protein powder, making it have a very thick mouth feel much like a delicious milkshake.

 

What are the ingredients in Rule 1 R1 Casein

 

Rule 1 R1 Casein is comprised of approximately 75% protein 3.0% fat and 9% carbohydrates. All of the protein in Rule 1 R1 Casein is Micellar Casein. 

 

This formula would be regarded as a high-protein low carbohydrate protein powder at 75% protein not dissimilar in percentage to most whey isolate, whey concentrate blends in terms of protein powder percentage. With R1 Casein you're only getting 3 g of carbohydrates per serve. Which is approximately the equivalent of 1 quarter of a medium tomato.

 

Who should use Rule 1 R1 Casein?

 

Anybody that partakes in high levels of activity where they are damaging muscle tissue, requires a higher intake of protein in their diet. Most people do not realise, that they may need as high as 1.2 to 1.8 g of protein per kilo of body weight per day, if they are partaking in high levels of activity. This elevated intake of protein can be achieved by using supplements or increasing the protein in your foods.
